Nan has decided to teach her abusive husband Kyle a lesson. With the help of her friend Simon (acting as her emotional - and actual - cheerleader) and a stripper named Sweetheart, she tapes Kyle to a chair and forces him to watch as they reenacts scenes from their painful past. In the piece de resistance, they plan to cover the room in meat and honey so Kyle will be mauled by a bear. Through this night of emotional trials and ridiculous theatrics, Nan and Kyle are both freed from their past in this smart, dark revenge comedy. Warnings: Simulated Fireworks, Visual Blood, Themes of Domestic Violence.

Two Cent Lion

tells STORIES THAT FEED artists, audiences, and the community at large with LGBTQ+ theatre and film. They are a resident theatre company of The People’s Building, where they have won two Henry Awards (CLINK CLINK, 2024). Notable past productions include THE LEGEND OF ANNE BONNY (co-produced by Shifted Lens), THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW & THE TRAGEDY OF MEDUSA. They also have various film and TV productions in development and on the film festival circuit, including IS THIS TRUE LOVE (2024) and STICKS & STONES (2026).

Music of the World

Inside the Orchestra brings music to children and families in the Denver metro area, cultivating music appreciation and enhancing their education through engaging, interactive experiences with orchestral music. Infants are FREE!


Music of the World Music of the World programs are interactive concerts for kids aged 0-11 (and their adults) to get truly “inside the orchestra.” Attendees are seated on the ground and encircled by a 16 piece professional orchestra and special guests and guided through the English-Spanish bilingual program by Conductor Steven Aguilo-Arbues. Music selection, program design, and scripting are all geared to connect children (aged 0-11) with music – physically, emotionally, and developmentally. These programs include a 45-minute immersive, interactive orchestral performance and meet and greet time with the musicians and performers.
